Former military colleague of Ben Roberts-Smith arrested in Sydney

A former SAS soldier and witness in the Ben Roberts-Smith libel case has been arrested in Sydney.

A former SAS soldier who was a colleague of Ben Roberts-Smith has been arrested in Sydney.

The man was charged with obstructing a Commonwealth official and causing harm to a Commonwealth official.

He was due to appear in the Central Local Court on Wednesday.

Victoria Cross winner Mr. Roberts-Smith is suing Nine Newspapers for defamation over a series of articles he claims falsely portrayed him as a war criminal.
