German Medical Industry IT Hiring Activity Increases 1.6% in March 2022

Germany’s medical industry saw a 1.6% increase in IT hiring activity in March 2022 compared to the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

Overall industry hiring increased 0.15% in March 2022 compared to February 2022.

Of the total medical industry hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 9.48% share in March 2022, posting a 0.16% increase from the average share of the last three months.

Top five job classifications in Germany’s medical industry IT recruitment activity in March 2022

Of the total job titles, the top five roles had a 100.69% share of the overall German medical industry IT hiring activity in March 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers and Testers registered a participation of 67.7% in March 2022, registering a growth of 7.65% compared to the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computing Occupations claimed a 16.84% share, an increase of 2.08% from the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects had a 7.9% share, registering a decrease of 39.47% since February 2022.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 6.87%, 9.09% less than the previous month.

Top five medical companies in Germany IT recruitment activity in March 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 30.33% share of overall German medical industry IT hiring activity during March 2022 with compared to February 2022.
