Virat Kohli’s slump continued as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fell to a 29-run loss against Rajasthan Royals in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on Tuesday. The star batsman, who had bagged golden ducks in both of his matches before Tuesday, could only score 9 before losing his wicket to Prasidh Krishna. Riyan Parag, who took the shot to send Kohli packing, took to Twitter to show his support for the former India captain, saying “the GOAT” didn’t need any advice, even during this fall from form.
In response to a tweet asking what advice Kohli should be given right now, Parag tweeted: “None of us should, let the GOAT do its thing.”

For the inexperienced, GOAT is short for ‘Greatest Of All Time’.
Parag himself was the star of the match when he rescued the Royals after a higher order collapse.
The youngster posted an undefeated 56 in 31 deliveries to take his team to a total of 144/8, which seemed like an elusive score for them at one point.
Coming to bat at 68/4 after 9.3 overs, he hit three bounds and four sixes in his saving act.
He even contributed on the field, taking four catches.
Parag was also at the center of a heated altercation with RCB pacemaker Harshal Patel after the last part of the Royals’ innings.
After the match ended, Harshal also rejected Parag’s handshake.
With the victory, the Royals rose to the top of the table.
