A 25-year-old man is on life support with serious brain injuries after being beaten in Sydney’s CBD earlier this week.
A police search is underway for six men linked to a violent attack in Sydney’s CBD earlier this week.
Officers were called to the corner of George and Liverpool streets around 2:10 a.m. Monday, following reports that a 25-year-old man had been assaulted.
CCTV footage shows the group of men fleeing the scene in a blue Holden Commodore, heading north on Kent Street.
Police allege that the victim got into an argument with the group before he was violently attacked.

The 25-year-old was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital, suffering a skull fracture and bleeding in the brain.
He remains in critical condition.
Detectives have formed the Stockdale Task Force to help track down the group that left the man fighting for his life.
All the men are described as being of subcontinental Indian appearance and are between 170cm and 185cm tall.
Each man wore sportswear or a padded jacket, with one man wearing a pair of thongs.
Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
