Toronto’s new beer garden has Italian summer vibes with a do-it-yourself Gin & Tonic menu

Greetings to summer! A new bar just opened in Toronto, and it’s completely outside. Il Patio di Eataly con Aperol is an outdoor food and drink concept in the Italian Eataly market. It consists of two separate spaces: The Bay Patio and a new outdoor bar.

Bay Patio’s menu is full of traditional Italian dishes with a focus on summer favorites. You can imagine yourself on vacation while enjoying Torino-style pizza, fresh pasta like homemade gnocchi, and more. Add a bit of booze to your meal by ordering a classic cocktail too.

The outdoor standing bar is walk-in only, so you need to worry about reservations. You can order authentic cocktails like Aperol Spritz, as well as wine, beer, and more from the Italian region.

A unique aspect of the bar is the gin and tonic menu to create your own. Guests can choose from 15 different gins from places like Italy and customize them with a variety of tonics and garnishes, including sage, cucumber and grapefruit.

Make-your-own drinks are priced at $16, and the bar offers a small snack menu with items like fries.

There are many other beautiful patios to enjoy in the city now that the warm weather has arrived. These outdoor terraces were ranked among the best in Canada, so they’re worth checking out.

Il Patio di Eataly is bursting with greenery and bright, cheery decor, making it a fun place to soak up the sun with friends and soak up the Italian vacation vibes.
