According to Environment Canada’s weekly forecast, it looks like this week will deliver the first warm temperatures in the Lower Mainland, particularly inland.
While Tuesday (May 31) is expected to see a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day, temperatures are expected to reach 18°C on the coast and 22°C inland; the afternoon forecast includes an overnight low of 12°C with some cloudy spells.
Temperatures are expected to take a warm turn on Wednesday, with the national forecaster forecasting a high of 21°C on the coast and 26°C inland. However, temperatures will feel more like 28°C with humidity. The overnight low is expected to drop to 13°C.
Thursday’s forecast includes a mix of sun and clouds and a high of 19°C with some rain overnight. Wet weather is expected to continue from Friday to Wednesday, with daily highs averaging 18°C and overnight lows between 11°C and 13°C.
