For one thing, Saturday’s forecast no longer carries the warning about the possibility of more thunderstorms in the area.

(Of course, around here you can never be sure…)

The weather office says we are seeing a mix of sun and clouds on Saturday with strong winds at 20km/h gusting to 40km/h.

The high should be around 23, with the humidex making it feel like 25.

The UV index is 8 or “very high”.

The clouds are expected to part on Saturday night, leaving clear skies and a low of 10.

Sunday looks pretty good, with mostly sunny skies in the morning, but increasing cloudiness in the afternoon.

The high feels like a 26, with a slight humidity bringing it up to a 27, and an 8 on the UV index.

Monday and Tuesday look like more of the same: mix of sun and clouds, highs of 28 C on Monday and 30 C on Tuesday. High humidity for annoying days.

Overnight lows are expected to be around 17C.

The first hint of precipitation appears to be on Wednesday, as June arrives with a 60 percent chance of showers and a maximum temperature close to 28 C.
